LinkedIn has announced plans to acquire SlideShare, an easy to use presentation sharing service, for $118.8 Million.
The SlideShare site had ~29 Million unique visitors in March and has more than 9 Million presentations. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter and has bumped up LinkedIn Shares by 8% hours after the announcement.
